Q: What is the Movement BE Center?
A: The Movement BE Center is a creative space rooted in storytelling, emotional intelligence, and cultural empowerment. We offer afterschool programs, weekend events, and creative workshops that help youth find their voice and build legacy through the arts.
Q: Who do you serve?
A: We serve youth in grades K–6 through afterschool and summer programming, as well as middle and high school students through leadership and media labs. We also host seasonal events for families and the broader community.
Q: Do you offer student pickups?
A: No. Movement BE does not offer transportation or pickups. Families are responsible for drop-off and pick-up. This helps us maintain a focused and sustainable program experience.

A: Monday–Friday, 1:00–6:00 PM
Q: How do I enroll my child?

Q: Can I rent the space or book studio time?
A: Not at this time. The Center is not open for public rentals. Select collaborations may be considered upon request.
Q: Do you offer free programs?
A: We offer a combination of free, subsidized, and paid programs. Access is prioritized for Black, Brown, and underserved youth.
Q: Can parents stay during programming?
A: Most programs are drop-off only. However, parents are invited to Family Days and seasonal showcase events.

Q: Who leads Movement BE?
A: Movement BE was founded by Nate Howard, a poet, educator, and cultural visionary. Our Center is led by a small team of alumni, teaching artists, and community mentors dedicated to our mission of creative transformation.
